Wellnest Collective was created to provide compassionate, informed, and personalized support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Every family and every birth is different, and my goal is to help you feel prepared, supported, and confident in the choices that are right for you.

Meet Kyrsten

I'm Kyrsten, the doula behind Wellnest Collective. A bit about me— I became a 2 under 2 mom this year, and WOW, it’s a lot! I now have a 6 month old and a freshly 2 year old, along with 2 cats, 1 dog, and an incredible husband who supports me through life! I began my doula journey early last year when I just had my 2nd baby and someone mentioned getting a doula and I said “What’s that?”.

After doing the research I remember feeling incredible robbed that I didn’t have one with either of my kids! I listened to a few podcasts, read a few books, and I was SOLD! This work is for me. Prior to my leave to have children I worked as an employment consultant for people with disabilities where my whole job was to support, advocate, educate, and refer— I was amazed that I found a whole career where I could do the same thing, but for mothers like myself!

I immediately got enrolled in all the classes, read a new book every week, & went to ANY events I could find to get in the community. After that day, I knew this was my purpose, 2nd to being a mother to my children, offering mother-like support to the mothers of my community.

Since then I’ve continued my education, began with families, received my certification with Washington State, and began working towards DONA Certification and accepting insurance(So exciting we are moving towards this in our communities!).
